Stambaugh Stadium tickets & upcoming events

Stambaugh Stadium is more than just a sports venue; it’s a hub of community energy and good old-fashioned fun in Youngstown. Think of it as the heartbeat of campus life, where students, alumni, and locals gather to cheer on the Penguins or catch a concert. The place has seen some upgrades over the years, like in 2009 when they swapped out the old turf for a high-tech synthetic surface that’s tougher and more player-friendly. It’s not just football either; the stadium hosts movie nights, support events, and even community gatherings, making it a versatile spot to hang out. If you’re worried about accessibility, no worries there, there are ASL interpreters available if needed, and the general admission areas keep things laid-back, so you can relax and soak in the atmosphere. Plus, it’s super bike-friendly with stands right at the entrance, so biking over is a no-brainer. Honestly, it’s a place where you can catch a game and feel like part of the action, whether you’re there for the Penguins or a big concert. And if you’re into seat selection, the interactive seating chart helps you find the perfect spot, whether that’s front row for Penguins or a VIP section for a show. All in all, Stambaugh Stadium isn’t just a venue, it’s an experience waiting to happen.
